To Support & Encourage

Dear __________,
I am sending you this very special message because I know that you need encouragement, support and love right now. While this can be a very joyful time of year, it can also be an incredibly difficult time to get through. But remember that I am always here for you. In a relationship we get to take turns being strong and being weak – up until now you have always been the strong one who I relied on for support. I am honored to now return those favors and help carry you along. Of course it breaks my heart to watch you suffer but helping you humbles me.

I must tell you that in the dark times it is especially important to look straight ahead and focus on your goals, your ambitions and your dreams. Looking behind and looking all around will only distract and slow you down – focus on what lies ahead and you will gain strength. But always remember that together we can handle whatever comes our way and we must resolve that, rather then approaching life cautiously, we will approach it whole heartedly. Of course this sort of uninhibited approach brings with it the risk of pain and disappointment, but it is the only way to fully enjoy life.

_________ remember that even in your most discouraged moments, life is a blessing. To live and to breathe is a gift. This is a special time of year to remember that life really is a gift. And it is through our pain and suffering that we appreciate the joy and happiness of living.

We have already handled more then I care to recollect, but our combined strength is enough for our continual survival. You are my partner in life and love and I promise that I will always stand by your side, because I know that you would and have done the same for me. I love you! Let’s try to have a Merry Christmas and 2006 will bring with it new beginnings – let us hope that 2006 is a time of renewal and re-birth.
