I’ve never seen your face
Or looked you in the eyes
Never heard your laughter
Or held you when you cried
I don’t know where you live
Or what your dreams may be
But just know that I consider
You the truest friend to me
You encourage my writings
And say words always just right
This writing is for you
As I write upon tonight
So even though we never met
Maybe even passed the other by
You’ll always be a friend to me
Who can always make me smile
